erri was born and raised in the Netherlands. Her mother is of French and Hungarian descent and is a native of Amsterdam. Her father is from Aruba. Until the age of 6, Terri appeared in TV commercials and shows and made appearances at fairs and markets, but she claims that at the age of 10, she was "skinny, with braces, glasses, and a short bob...definitely not the prettiest in the class". After finishing school, she worked a variety of jobs including working for a butcher, in an office, and later as a waitress at Hooters.
